Game of Truth

Directed by Fabienne Lips-Dumas

In 1998, after 30 years of violence in Northern Ireland, the Good Friday Peace Agreement marked the end of a bloody conflict known as The Troubles. During this conflict, in order to address the violence from loyalist paramilitaries and IRA members, the British government implemented measures such as intelligence gathering, manipulation of the information, and the surveillance of the general population. Two decades after the Good Friday Peace Agreement, more than 3,000 murders are still unsolved. Families struggle to find the truth about the killing of their loved ones and warn us about how counter-terrorism operations may jeopardise the protection and the respect of the rule of law.
